about ME and about MY MUSIC

So where to start... Well for the purposes of a bio, I guess I should say that I hail from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, I am a bit of a techie, I have a great wife and daughter, 3 cats, 7 guitars, a tattoo and a shed!

Oh, and I write rock and blues songs which I like to think are quite original. Some weekends you can catch me treading the boards with Damaged Goods The Band.

So what is my music about... Everything and nothing ("that is a cop out" - Ed). Ok, so some are inspired by a turn of phrase (You Got To Learn to Walk It Off), or a person (When You Appeared), or even an Advert on the TV (Rail Track Blues) or sometimes just good old beer... Anyway, when an idea comes to mind I write it down (so to speak), some ideas become songs.

Meet the band who help in the process...

the SINGLE

I Can Sense You is the first single I have released for download and it is helping to save the world from sprouts - it's true, click to find out more! Oh, and let me know what you think.

NINJAS and BUNS - EP

NINJAS Don't Throw BUNS is the name of my 'EP'. The title is obviously inspired from the fact that the aforementioned practitioners of Ninjutsu, despite having been schooled in the use of a wide range of weapons, including many throwing stars, don't, as a rule, throw buns - click the link for more...

RECENT ramblings

RECENT ramblings is the place where songs come to put their feet up, relax and get acllimatised to the internet before they can join their older siblings in THE archive - which by a strange coincidence is below (eyes down!)

THE archive

THE archive completes the catalogue of my other online offerings - mostly rock based with the odd story in there and an instrumental . Feel free to browse around and let me know what you think of them (via the CONTACT link)
